This is a collection of material relating mainly to the early history of Queensland. It includs papers on the early Moreton Bay Settlement, Captain Mylechreest of Cairns, and on the crossing of the Blue Mountains by Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth. There is also material relating to the Committee on Queensland Place Names which consists of correspondence, minutes, press cuttings, and some of the Committee's reports. Also included is a Science Students Association "Report on a research expedition to Moreton Bay January 1938". There are 7 pamphlets on various subjects.
